Russell “Rusty” F. Cantlin Jr.

Enfield, N.H. — Russell “Rusty” F. Cantlin Jr., 70, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017. He was born in Lebanon, N.H. to the late Russell F. & Lorraine (Briggs) Cantlin Sr. Russell graduated from Lebanon High School, class of 1966. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served in Vietnam.

Following his honorable discharge from the military he got his electricians license and was a master electrician for a period of time. Following that he operated a garage in West Lebanon, N.H., he drove truck for J.B. Hunt, worked for the Lebanon School District and eventually retired from Dartmouth Printing. Russell was an active member in the American Legion Post 22 where he was past post commander and district commander. As well as a member of the VFW. In his free time, he enjoyed volunteering at the VA Medical Center in White River Junction, Vt., spending time with his Beagle Dogs, and enjoying classic cars, especially Corvettes.

Russell was predeceased by both his parents Russell F. Cantlin Sr. and Lorraine (Briggs) Cantlin.

He is survived by his wife, Karen S. (LaChance) Cantlin; his three dogs Trixie, Susie and Jack; sisters, Bonnie Lariviere of Grantham, N.H., Mary Cantlin and wife, Mindy Girten of Grantham, Pat Schettino and husband, Alex of Grantham; brother, Clifton Cantlin and wife, Sharon of Lebanon; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon with a memorial service beginning at 7 p.m.
