Off-ramp at Quechee exit on I-89 north to close on Wednesday

HARTFORD — A portion of US Route 4 eastbound will be closed between the southbound and northbound off-ramps of Interstate 89 Exit 1 in Hartford during the day next Wednesday to allow for pavement repairs. 

The westbound side of Route 4 will remain open, but westbound travelers will be unable to turn onto the on-ramp at the Quechee exit, Exit 1 on I-89 North from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28.

Those seeking to get on I-89 North from Quechee will be directed eastbound via I-89 South to I-91 north to Exit 11 in White River Junction onto US-5 to I-91 south to Exit 10A on I-89 North.

At the same time, the off-ramp at Exit 1 on I-89 North will be closed to all traffic. Travelers will be rerouted to US-4 via Exit 2 in Sharon to I-89 south to Exit 1.
