QUECHEE — Hartford police said a 17-year-old Quechee resident was the driver who vandalized two holes of the Quechee Club’s Lakeland golf course over the weekend.

“The investigation is still continuing and charges have not yet been filed against the individual, but may be forthcoming,” Hartford police Major Brad Vail said via email Tuesday.

The perpetrator drove a vehicle in circles on the 10th fairway, damaging the grass, and in the rough of the 11th hole, as well, late Friday or early Saturday. Ken Lallier, property manager for the Quechee Club, said repairs might require sod being brought north from New Jersey in a refrigerated truck.

Vail said the teen was driving a Jeep.
