Article of note: A school warrant article seeks support for a $1.5 million renovation of the school, with $1 million to come from a donation and $500,000 to come from a bond. Contested races: Two people are vying for a three-year term on the Selectboard: Elise Angelillo and Trevor Marsh. There are no contested races for School Board.

Budgets and spending articles: The proposed school budget is $8.7 million, up from $8.5 million last year. The proposed town budget is $3.1 million, up from $3 million last year.

When, where and how to vote: Ballot voting will take place on Tuesday, March 11 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Plainfield School gymnasium. The in-person school meeting will take place at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 15 in the school gym. Town Meeting will take place at 2 p.m.
