Claremont Savings Bank has brought aboard two new commercial loan officers to focus on lending to local businesses. Both have extensive commercial banking experience in the Upper Valley.

Sean Long, who has worked at Vermont banks for more than 20 years, has joined CSB as vice president, commercial lending.

Long, of Westminster, Vt., most recently was vice president and Upper Valley market manager at Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank based at the bank’s Hanover office. He previously worked in commercial lending at Merchants Bank and People’s United Bank.

Also joining CSB is Adam Pippin as assistant vice president, commercial lending.

Pippin, a Hartford resident, joins CSB from Wells River Savings Bank, where he was commercial loan officer. Previously he had been with Mascoma Bank.

He will be based at CSB’s West Lebanon office on South Main Street.
