Gayle Schafer has joined the team of independent school and college guidance counselors at Matlack Educational Consulting as an admissions specialist.

Schafer, an Eastman resident, previously worked in the admissions and financial aid office at Dartmouth College and was an assistant director of admissions at Kimball Union Academy in Meriden.

Christopher Blais has been named vice president, community banking relationship manager, at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust and will be based at the bank’s New London branch.

Blais, a Manchester resident and specialist in commercial real estate lending, joins Bar Harbor from Plum Lending, where he was executive vice president, northeast region originations.

Cameron Marshall has joined the Hanover office of Four Seasons Sotheby’s International Realty as a sales associate.

Marshall, of Lyme, is a 2017 graduate of Hanover High School and is currently entering his sophomore year studying business and finance at University of New Hampshire. Marshall founded Be Positive for CHaD Kids, a charitable fund established to provide healthy snacks to young patients.
