Bar Harbor Bank & Trust has hired Scott Nichols as the bank’s new vice president, regional relationship manager, based at the bank’s branch office in Woodstock.

Nichols, of Quechee, comes to Bar Harbor after more than 12 years at VSECU, where he most recently was vice president of business lending at the credit union.

He is a graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy in Rutland and College of the Holly Cross in Massachusetts.

Physical therapist Zachary Gardner with Cioffredi & Associates in Lebanon has achieved his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification from the American Board of Physical Therapist Specialists.

OCS certification recognizes leading clinical knowledge, experience and skills in orthopedic therapy and requires a minimum of 2,000 hours of professional experience and passing qualifying exams.

Gardner, of Claremont, a graduate of the University of Rhode Island who earned a doctorate in physical therapy from Franklin Pierce University, is one of only three physical therapists in New Hampshire to pass the exam in the past year.

Nathaniel Fisher, financial advisor with Fisher Financial Advisors in Hanover, has earned the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional certification from the College of Financial Planning.

FPQP certification requires successful completion of a 10-module course in financial planning and ongoing 16 hours of continuing education every two years.

Fisher, of Enfield and a graduate of Gould Academy in Maine and the University of New Hampshire, has been with the firm for three years.
