People in Business: Three Join Mascoma Savings Bank

A trio of loan officers have joined Mascoma Bank, expanding the Lebanon-based bank’s mortgage department and operations.

Tyler Gilday has been named senior vice president, mortgage operations manager. Gilday, of New London, most recently was senior vice president at Lake Sunapee Bank and previously worked at Camden National Bank in Maine. He will be based at Mascoma’s operations center on Sykes Mountain Avenue in White River Junction.

Cathy Murray has been named senior vice president, mortgage sales manager. Murray, a Lebanon native who now lives in Lempster, N.H., was most recently a senior vice president at Lake Sunapee Bank and previously had worked at Ledyard National Bank. She will be based in New London.

Dean Cashman, who grew up in Hanover and now resides in Lebanon, has been named vice president and commercial loan officer. He had been a vice president at Lake Sunapee Bank. He will be based in Lebanon.

“We are thrilled to grow our lending team to better meet the needs of our region,” Clay Adams, chief executive of Mascoma Bank, said in a news release.

Lake Sunapee Bank, which last year was acquired by Maine-based Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, is in the process of changing the Lake Sunapee locations to the Bar Harbor Bank brand.
