Orford man jailed on sexual assault charges

ORFORD — A 19-year-old Orford man is being held in Grafton County jail on charges that he sexually assaulted an underage female while he was already out on bail on a prior charge of sexual assault against another girl earlier this year.

Noah Schwarz, of Route 25A in Orford, was arrested on Friday and charged with multiple felony and misdemeanor counts of sexual assault against a 17-year-old female, New Hampshire State Police said in a news release.

Schwarz had been released on personal recognizance with conditions after being indicted and charged in August with multiple counts of sexual assault against a 14-year-old female in May, according to court records.

A bail hearing for Schwarz in Grafton County Superior Court is set for Wednesday.
