ORANGE — In Town Meeting voting this week, voters rejected an article to discontinue the election of a town road agent and instead allow the Selectboard to hire a non-resident contractor.

They approved a general fund budget of $339,000, with an additional $84,000 to come from the Unassigned Fund Balance.

In an uncontested race, Sandi Pierson was elected to a three-year term on the Selectboard.
