Circles of life in Norwich

  • Leah Goat, of Hanover, takes in an exhibit of paintings on display for the Norwich Historical Society Community Circles Project, in Norwich, Vt., Friday, Oct. 9, 2030. The historical society asked townspeople to paint circles with their expressions of gratefulness and hope during the coronavirus pandemic. “The way I’ve dealt with COVID is being busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, and not stopping to ask myself the questions of what brings me hope,” said Goat, who is a historical society volunteer. “This made me stop and pay attention.” After Friday’s display the circles will be prepared for permanent display on an exterior wall of Dan and Whit’s.
