Newbury, Vt., man killed in rollover crash

NEWBURY, Vt. — A 63-year-old Newbury man was killed late Tuesday afternoon when he was thrown from his truck in a rollover crash, Vermont State Police said in a news release.

Ronald Getz was driving south on Tyler Farm Road around 5 p.m. “when he lost control of his vehicle, crashed into a ditch, and was ejected from the vehicle,” the release said.

Getz, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died before troopers arrived at the scene, the release said.

Anyone with information about the crash was asked to call Vermont State Police at 802-748-3111.
