NEW LONDON — The New London Park and Ride will be closed for several days beginning in the evening of Monday, May 1, according to a news release from the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
The planned closing, which will allow for paving and striping operations, is part of an ongoing project to expand the lot, located off I-89 at Exit 12.
Prior to the closing of the park and ride, all vehicles must be removed from the lot. Those remaining will be towed.
The park and ride is slated to reopen on Thursday, May 3 at 4 a.m. for normal operations.
Dartmouth Coach bus service to and from New London will not run while the lot is closed, according to the company’s website.
F.L. Merrill Construction of Loudon, N.H., is the general contractor for the $648,000 project, which set for completion on Aug. 11.
