Contested races: There are three candidates for two open seats representing Woodstock on the School Board: incumbent Matt Stout, as well as Sarit Werner and Kelly Linton. Carin Ewing Park is running uncontested for reelection to represent Barnard on the board. Bridgewater incumbent Lara Bowers also is running uncontested for reelection.

Budget and spending articles: The proposed operating budget is $30.77 million. Last year, voters approved an operating budget of $29.8 million.

When, where and how to vote: An informational hearing is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27, at 6:30 p.m. at the Woodstock Union Middle and High School library. Australian ballot voting is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 4. Voting in Barnard is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Barnard Town Hall, 115 North Road. Voting in Bridgewater is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 45 Southgate Loop. Voting in Pomfret is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 5218 Pomfret Road. Voting in Woodstock is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at town hall, 31 the Green.
