CANAAN — Mascoma Valley Regional High School will have new leaders next school year, according to a news release.
Tina Fleming, currently interim principal at Indian River School, will serve as principal. Rick Simula, a case manager in the special education department, will serve as assistant principal.
Fleming holds a bachelor’s degree in general studies, a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction and a master’s degree in educational studies, all from Southern New Hampshire University.
She serves as a member of the budget committee in Belmont, N.H.
Simula holds a bachelor’s degree in special education from Plymouth (N.H.) State University and a master’s degree in special education from Simmons University in Boston. He joined the Mascoma school district as a special education case manager in 2013, developing Individualized Education Program goals, and otherwise supporting students.
He also founded the wrestling programs at Indian River and the high school and will continue as varsity wrestling coach.
