Chelsea, Vt. — Mary Frances Flye, 87 died, Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at her son’s home in Chelsea. She was born Feb. 8, 1930, in Corinth, Vt. the daughter of Fred and Hattie (Clough) Pray. She attended school in East Orange, Vt.

On Nov. 29, 1947, she married Clifford C, Flye in Woodbury, Vt. They lived in East Corinth for a short time before buying a home in West Topsham, Vt. In 1968 they moved to Corinth. The last ten years she has lived in Chelsea.

She had worked four years at the Forest Poultry Plant in South Royalton, Vt. and a few years at H.E.B. Manufacturing in Chelsea.

She enjoyed, hunting with her husband and sons, watching and feeding the birds, vegetable and flower gardening.

She is survived by two sons, Douglas Flye of Chelsea and Markco Flye of Barre, Vt.; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford on Oct. 1, 2001; five brothers, Leonard Pray, Bill Pray, Fred Pray, Albert Pray and Clifton Pray; and two sisters, Josephine Bruleigh and Ada Montandon.

There are no public calling hours. A graveside memorial service will be held later this spring at the New Discovery Cemetery in Marshfield, Vt.
