WEARE, N.H. — Nick Brill tossed a complete-game two-hitter to lead the Lebanon Post 22 juniors to a 5-1 win over Weare Post 65 on Thursday night at Weare Middle School.

Brill struck out seven and gained the benefit of a defense that played errorless ball behind him. Brill also went 1-for-3 at the plate with a walk, stolen base and two runs scored.

Oliver Sperry and Bennett Hewett (team-high three RBIs) both had two-hit games for Post 22 (2-1). Shea Curley also drove in a run.

“Great job with all three stages of the game,” coach Chauncey Wood said. “We hit, we played great defense and Nick pitched amazing.”

MANCHESTER — Sweeney Post 2 plated two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning for a walk-off win over the Post 22 seniors (1-4) at Gill Stadium.

Leadoff Lebanon hitters provided all of the team’s runs. Braeden Falzarano scored in the first after being hit by a pitch, scoring on a Zack Howland single. Jordan Chappell made it 2-0 in the second, reaching on an error and coming home on a Trevor Pierce RBI hit.

Jackson Horne kept Sweeney in check, surrendering a third-inning run but stranding multiple baserunners in scoring position. He ultimately allowed six hits, the last a two-out double in the seventh that plated a pair of unearned runs for Sweeney.
