Field Hockey

Woodstock 2, Fair Haven 1

Key players: Woodstock — Betta Cirovic, Ryann Hughes, Marley Olmstead. Fair Haven — Victoria Kelly.

Highlights: Cirovic started the scoring off a corner from Olmstead. Fair Haven tied the score four minutes into the fourth quarter with a goal by Eliana Allard. Woodstock’s Cirovic scored again with five minutes to go in the game from a beautiful play down the sidelines and a great cross from Hughes. Fair Haven’s goalie Victoria Kelly had four saves, while Woodstock’s Paige Stone didn’t record any.

Records: Woodstock 5-0-0; Fair Haven 1-4-0

Newfound 3, Mascoma 0

Key players: Mascoma — Sam Harkins, Evie Bennett, Ann Buffington, Makenna Houston, Ellie McGrody.

Highlights: Goalie Harkins had 10 saves. The Royals held the Bears scoreless in the first half. The Bears scored all of their goals in the third quarter.

We came out strong in the first half, came out tired in the third quarter which cost us those three goals, but we were able to hold them off in the final quarter. Boys Soccer

Lebanon 7, John Stark 2

Key players: Lebanon — Otto Bourne, Dom Calandrella.

Highlights: After a scoreless first 25 minutes, Lebanon scored five times in the next 16 minutes to take a 5-0 lead and led 6-0 after 50 minutes.

Records: Lebanon 3-2-1; John Stark 1-4-0

Oxbow 1, Enosburg 0

Key players: Oxbow — Andrew Barrett, Jayden Huntoon, Shane Morse.

Highlights: Huntoon scored the only goal of the game from Barrett’s through ball. Goalkeeper Oden Schlager had a clean sheet with seven saves and help from defensive backs Liam O’Connell, Morse, Josh Gray and Jack Drugach.

Girls Soccer

Rivendell 9, Sharon 1

Key players: Rivendell — Shaylee Carter, Lily Murray and Lindsey O’Hearn (2 goals each); Carly Brown, Erin Ricker and Allie Vogelien (1 goal each).

Highlights: After a tight start to the game, Rivendell scored two goals in four minutes and soon after began to build an impressive lead.

Records: Rivendell 4-0-0; Sharon 0-4-1

Volleyball

Kingswood 3, Hanover 2

Key players: Hanover — Ellie Molina (7 kills, 6 aces), Claire Starosta (4 kills, 7 digs), Bella Poisson (5 kills) and Hudson Cusimano (5 blocks).

Highlights: Casey Wilkinson had an amazing save on a tip to left back, rewarding Hanover with a bump kill. Poisson adjusted and got a kill off an extremely out-of-system ball that no one was expecting a swing on.

Hanover second in
three-team match

Ben Ames, Andrew Cramer and Hayden Clapp had strong performances in Hanover’s three-team match with Concord and Manchester Central at Montcalm Golf Club.
