Girls Soccer

Windsor 7, White River Valley 0

Key players: Windsor — Audrey Rupp, Avery Ducharme, Sophia Rockwood, Lilly Keefe; White River Valley — Imari Taylor.

Highlights: Windsor beat White River Valley in the first round of VPA Division III playoffs at MacLeay-Royce Field in Windsor. Rupp scored five goals and tacked on two assists for Windsor, while Ducharme added two goals and two assists. Rockwood made 10 saves for the Yellowjackets in between the sticks. Taylor made 13 saves for White River Valley in the loss.

Records: Windsor 13-0-1; White River Valley 3-11-1

Sharon 1, Leland & Gray 0

Key players: Sharon — Evan Hare, Mac Gray, Abby Chase.

Highlights: Hare’s goal, assisted by Gray, with 8 minutes to play, coupled with four saves by GK Chase, was enough for the 13th-seeded Phoneix to earn their first playoff win since 2018.

Boys Soccer

Mascoma 7, Derryfield 1

Key players: Mascoma — Tanner Moulton, Brayden Pierce, Marshall York, Matt Favreau. Derryfield High School — Mouad Yzzogh, Myles Rozen.

Highlights: Both attacking weapons for Mascoma recorded a hat trick. Keeper Favreau made some fantastic saves despite the best effort from Derryfield’s Yzzogh.

Coach’s quote: “This was a game that could have easily been a lot closer had we not gotten a few favorable bounces in the first half. Although It was only our second time on turf, I was extremely pleased with our pace and our ability to stretch the field high and wide.” — Mascoma’s Stuart Kinsman

Volleyball

Hanover 3, Laconia 2

Highlights: Ellie Molina had 25 kills, four aces and six digs to lead the Bears over the Sachems. Claire Starosta had six kills, four aces, 13 digs and four blocks. Sage Fargher had 27 assists and six digs. Bella Poisson had eight kills.
