Bradford, Vt. — Lincoln Isley struck out three batters and gave up one hit in four innings to lead the Oxbow High baseball team to a five-inning 24-1 win over Hazen on Thursday afternoon at home.
Sullivan French provided two hits and had four RBIs for the O’s, who improved to 1-1 this spring. Orin Mahikoa added two hits, including a double, and three RBIs, and Trevor Moore had a double and two RBIs.
Oxbow is scheduled to host Blue Mountain on Saturday.
Women’s Soccer Dartmouth Adds Two to Roster
Hanover — Dartmouth head coach Ron Rainey announced the additions of international players Kate Grgic and Mist Gronvold to the roster ahead of the 2018 season.
Grgic is a Mississauga, Ontario, native and a defenseman who helped her club team, the Burlington Bayhawks, win the Ontario Cup in 2017 and advance to the U-17 national championship game. Gonvold, of Reykjavik, Iceland, played for Iceland’s U-17 national team.
The Big Green now have seven freshmen who will begin their collegiate careers in August.
Men’s Lacrosse Dartmouth’s Korzelius Selected in MLL Draft
Hanover — Dartmouth senior captain Jack Korzelius was selected 56th overall by the Atlanta Blaze on Wednesday in the 2018 Major League Lacrosse Draft.
Korzelius became the ninth Big Green player in program history to be selected in the draft and the first since Patrick Resch was chosen in 2015. The Purchase, N.Y., native has started all 11 games this spring for Dartmouth and is currently second on the team in goals with 19 and third in points with 22.
He was tabbed an All-Ivy League honorable mention as a sophomore and was named to the second team last season.
