Bridgewater Corners, Vt. — Linda Lee Frost, 64, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, in St. Petersburg, Florida surrounded by her family.

She was born on Oct. 22, 1952, in Hanover, N.H. the daughter of Derwood Leon and Louise Marie (Severance) Adams.

Linda graduated from Woodstock Union High School in 1970 and soon after married her high school sweetheart Richard Frost. They enjoyed 41 years of marriage until Richards’s death in 2013.

Linda worked for the Robert E. Lewis Company for 20 years and then attended and graduated with and L.N.A from Randolph. She went to work for Woodstock Terrace until retiring in 2012.

Linda grew to enjoy her time in St. Petersburg, Fla. She was active in her community but found time to go to the beach nearly every day. She enjoyed working in her gardens and raising flowers and also enjoyed birds especially cardinals. After meeting her companion in Florida, Bill Martin, she also enjoyed traveling and sightseeing as they spent time together.

Linda was a loving mother, a devoted wife, and always remained close to her family. She was well known for her compassion and for her sense of humor as her laughter could often be enjoyed throughout the neighborhood.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Jennifer and husband, Timothy Dean of Bridgewater Corners; her siblings: Jean Booth and Gary and wife, Rebecca Adams all of St. Cloud, Fla., Jackie and husband, Ken Tarleton of Woodstock, Vt., Mark and wife, Sherry Adams of Windsor, Vt., and Scott Adams and partner, Sarah Kaminski of Bridgewater; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and partner Bill Martin. In addition to her parents Linda is predeceased by her husband Richard and her beloved dog Betsy.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday May 15 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Woodstock. Burial will follow in the Topliff Cemetery in Bridgewater Corners and a reception at the Bridgewater Grange Hall.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 110 Main Street #203, Burlington, VT 05401.
