Annual meeting preview: Lebanon School District

Article of note: A city warrant article would eliminate references to the Personnel Advisory Board and The Grievance Board from the city charter.

Contested races: There are four people running for three three-year terms on the School Board: Lilian Maughan, John D’Entremont, Lochrane C. Gary and Richard Ford Burley.

Budgets and spending articles: The proposed school operating budget is $55.06 million, with a default budget of $54.65 million. That’s up from last year’s budget of $51.1 million.

When, where and how to vote: Ballot voting is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 12 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Ward I votes at the Kilton Public Library, 80 Main St., West Lebanon; Ward II votes at the United Methodist Church, 18 School Street; and Ward III votes in the City Council Chambers, 51 North Park Street, Floor 1.
