Annual voting preview: Kearsarge Regional School District's $51.1M budget on the ballot

Article of note: An article asks whether voters of the Kearsarge Regional School District, which includes the Upper Valley towns of New London and Springfield, N.H., will support the cost of a new agreement with the paraeducators association, which is slated to cost $208,000 in the first year.

Contested races: There are two candidates from New London running for a three-year term on the School Board: Kristen R. Johnson and David Keith.

Budgets and spending articles: The proposed budget is $51.1 million, which is up from the $47.2 million voters approved last year.

When, where and how to vote: Voting is slated to take place by ballot on March 14. In New London, voting is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. at Whipple Hall, 25 Seamans Road. In Springfield, voting is scheduled for 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the Meeting House on Four Corners Road.
