WELLS RIVER — Southbound Interstate 91 between Wells River and Bradford, Vt., is scheduled to be closed for four nights starting Oct. 23 to allow for bridge repairs.

The nightly closures between I-91 exits 17 and 16 will start at 6 p.m. and run until 7 a.m. the following day, according to a Monday news release from the Vermont Agency of Transportation.

During the closure there will be no through traffic, and the parking area between Exits 17 and 16 southbound will be closed.

The detour will take traffic off I-91 at exit 17, east along U.S. 302, south on U.S. 5 in Wells River, and west on State Route 25 in Bradford, before returning to I-91 at exit 16.
