HARTLAND — At the polls on Tuesday, voters approved a school budget of $9.99 million in a vote of 293-161.

The budget is expected to result in education spending of $22,842 per equalized pupil, which is nearly 11% higher than that for the current year.

Meanwhile, Thomas Kennedy beat out Jacob Holmes for a two-year term on the Selectboard, 292-145. James Rielly won an uncontested three-year term on the Selectboard. 

On the school side, Elizabeth “Beth” Roy won an uncontested three-year term on the School Board and Hannah Foote Bensimhon won an uncontested two-year term.
