Hartford veterans group raising money for families of N.H. motorcycle crash victims

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — Members of the Hartford Veterans Council are collecting monetary donations for the families of the seven victims of the Randolph, N.H., motorcycle crash.

VFW Post 2571, American Legion posts 26 and 28, and the veterans council plan to make one large monetary donation to the Marine JarHeads motorcycle group, of which the seven who died were a part.

Checks can be made out to the Hartford, Vt., Veterans Council and mailed to VFW#2571, P.O. Box 282, White River Junction, 05001, or brought in person to the VFW, which is located at 97 S. Main St. The cutoff date for donations is July 7.
