Hartford Town Clerk’s office to close for a week

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — Due to a hiring shortage, the town clerk’s office will be closed from Tuesday, July 25, through Tuesday, Aug. 1, according to a notice on Friday from Town Clerk Lisa O’Neill.
O’Neill noted that some services, such as marriage licenses, may be obtained from any town clerk’s office in the state. Renewals of motor vehicle registrations may also be completed online at the state Department of Motor Vehicles website.
The office will reopen on Wednesday Aug. 2.
