WILDER — The Hartford Community Coalition is scheduled to hold a community forum on safety and substance use on Tuesday in Wilder, according to the group’s Facebook page.

The event is to include speakers from Hartford’s police, fire and social work departments to discuss concerns regarding safety and substance use in town.

Following the discussion, local health professionals also will offer a training in the use of the opioid overdose reversal drug naloxone, which is also known as Narcan, and distribute it for free.

The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Wilder Club and Library, 78 Norwich Ave. Light refreshments will be provided.
