CONCORD — A 47-year-old Grafton man has been sentenced to 72 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to distributing methamphetamine, the fourth person to be sentenced in the case that involved a total of six co-defendants.

Chad Rombow, a self-employed contractor, entered a guilty plea on Jan. 7 to the charge of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Concord on Feb. 21, the New Hampshire U.S. District Court office said in a news release Tuesday.

Rombow compensated a Grantham man in methamphetamine for p[icking up a package on Rombow’s behalf containing nearly 12 ounces of methamphetamine that was shipped to an address in Lebanon from Arizona in 2019, which Rombow “intended to further distribute,” federal prosecutors alleged in court documents.

Five of the six co-defendants were Grafton County residents. Two co-defendants are awaiting sentences.

Under the plea agreement, Rombow also agreed to voluntarily forfeit his firearms, which included eight handguns, five shotguns and one rifle along with assorted ammunition, according to court documents.
