Hanover’s Cryans is Democratic nominee for county treasurer

NORTH HAVERHILL — Michael Cryans earned the Democratic nomination for Grafton County treasurer in New Hampshire primary voting on Tuesday.

He earned 4,638 votes, beating out  outgoing state Rep. Corinne Morse, of Canaan, with 3,506 votes and Jason Neenos, of Plymouth, N.H., with 857, according to unofficial results from the Secretary of State’s Office.

In November, Cryans, of Hanover, will face Brian Dear, of Lyman, N.H., who was unopposed in the Republican primary.

They are seeking to replace Lebanon Democrat Karen Liot Hill, who is running for Executive Council.
