HAVERHILL — Incumbent Rick Ladd and fellow Haverhill resident Marie Bjelobrk earned the Republican nomination for two seats representing the Grafton 5 district in the New Hampshire House.
The two beat out Greg Mathieson, also of Haverhill, for the nomination to represent the two-seat district serving the Upper Valley towns of Haverhill and Piermont, as well as Benton, Landaff and Warren.
Ladd, who is seeking his ninth term in the House, earned 454 votes, 39%; Bjelobrk earned 411, or 35%; and Mathieson earned 302 votes, or 26%.
In November, the two Republicans will face Democrats Rachael Booth, of Landaff, and Dustin Vigneault, of Haverhill, who ran uncontested in Tuesday’s Democratic primary.
