SEVCA thrift stores in need of donations

In an effort to replenish emptying shelves, Southeastern Vermont Community Action Plan’s Good Buy thrift stores in Springfield, Vt., and Bellows Falls, Vt., are seeking donations.

SEVCA’s thrift stores provide clothing, furniture and household goods at affordable prices or for no cost through the use of vouchers for those unable to pay.

Clean clothing and boxes of gently used household goods, books and other items are accepted at both locations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

SEVCA will also come to collect furniture. Call 802-885-7074 to schedule a pickup time. 

Boxes or bags are limited to two per person. Donors will be offered a tax receipt. 

The Good Buy store in Springfield is located at 25 Main St.
