WEST LEBANON — Two Upper Valley arts events have changed plans for weekend events.

The prospect of severe weather on Friday has forced the cancelation of the planned Newport Community Block Party. The Newport Area Chamber of Commerce plans to meet in the coming days to consider whether to reschedule the event.

In addition, the Chelsea Funnery, a two-week Shakespeare camp, will hold its 6 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday performances of “Much Ado About Nothing” in the small gym at White River Valley School in South Royalton, an alternate location in the event of severe storms.
