Faith Virginia (Owen) Annis

Lebanon, N.H. — Faith Virginia Annis, 78, passed away at her home on Wednesday, 3/15/2017, with family at her side, following a brief illness. She was born to H. Esther (Whitney) and H. Robert Owen on 10/21/38, in Concord, N.H. Faith graduated from Hillsboro Deering Co-op School in 1956. She was active in Home Economics, winning the Betty Crocker Homemaking award. Following her graduation, she went to work at Hillsboro’s Sylvania plant, where she met the love of her life, Robert H. Annis. They married in 1958.

Faith worked for Dr. Lacy in Thetford, Vt. and at the Family Health Center in Lebanon, N.H. before she found her true calling, caring for the Developmentally Disabled. She had several privately placed individuals living with her over the years, as well as being a home care provider for United Developmental Services.

Faith was predeceased by her grandparents, Lovell and Harriet Whitney, her parents and step-father, as well as her husband of 45 years, Bob. She is survived by her three children, Peter, Lebanon, N.H.; Bob (wife Pam), Cornish, N.H., their children Bobby, Chicago, Ill. and Nikki, Morrisonville, N.Y.; Sarah of West Lebanon, N.H. and her children Joey, Pensacola, Florida and Faith, West Lebanon, N.H. She is also survived by the light of her life, her great granddaughter , Autumn , West Lebanon, N.H., and four half siblings, Pamela Purdue , Greg Owen, Gordon Dickie , and Ellen McPhetres, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Brian Lombardo for his exceptional support and care during Faith’s illness.

Faith’s ashes will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico, where her late husband’s ashes were also spread.
