Event Cancellations and Postponements

The talk “Memoirs of an Art Dealer” to be held Wednesday, March 7, at 7 p.m. at the Norwich Congregational Church has been rescheduled for March 14.

The talk “Road Salt, Road Safety and Environmental Impact” scheduled for Wednesday, March 7 at 7 p.m. at the Enfield Community Building has been canceled.

The March 7 session of “Serving the World from a Place of Inner Awakening,” a four-part dharma series at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, is canceled. The last two sessions will be held on March 14 and April 4.

The Claremont Area AARP chapter meeting scheduled to take place on Thursday at 1 p.m. has been canceled.

The talk “Restoring Brook Trout,” scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Orford Social Library has been rescheduled to Thursday, March 29.

The teen art portfolio day scheduled for Friday at AVA Gallery in Lebanon has been canceled.

While no entertainment venues were reporting plans to postpone shows today and tonight because of the snowstorm that hit the Upper Valley on Wednesday and raged into this morning, music fans and theater-goers are encouraged to call the box offices listed on page C2 of today’s Close-Up section.

In addition to saxophonist Mike Parker and singer Alison “AliT” Turner’s show at Taverne on the Square (603-287-4418) in Claremont at 6, events still scheduled today include Emmy-winning actor Ed Asner in the one-man show A Man and His Prostate at Woodstock Town Hall Theatre (802-457-3981) at 7:30; Northern Stage’s performances at 2 and 7 of Disgraced at the Barrette Center for the Arts in White River Junction (802-296-7000); and Shaker Bridge Theatre’s staging of Heisenberg at 7:30 at Whitney Hall in Enfield (603-448-3750).
