Townsend — Volk

Windsor — Paige Elizabeth Townsend and Christopher Patterson Volk have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Karen and Winthrop Townsend III, of Windsor. She graduated from Windsor High School in 2010 and earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in design, innovation and society from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., in 2014. She is employed as a senior business analyst at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, Calif.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Nancy and Timothy Volk, of Carnegie, Pa. He graduated from Carlynton High School in Carnegie, Pa., in 2010 and earned a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute in 2014. He earned a master’s degree in aerospace, aeronautical and astronautical engineering from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Calif., in 2015, and is employed as an astrodynamics engineer at Boeing in El Segundo, Calif.

The couple live in Manhattan Beach, Calif.
