WEATHERSFIELD — Wayne and Darlene Johnson, of Weathersfield, and Jim and Elaine Somers, of Stratford, Conn., have announced the engagement of their children, Alicia Johnson and Michael Somers.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., and a master’s degree in forensic psychology from Marymount University in Arlington, Va.

The bridegroom-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Steubenville, Ohio.

The couple is planning a September, 2020 wedding in Springfield, Vt.
