Bethel, Vt. — Edith A. Trask, 76, of Bethel, died Sunday morning, Dec. 31, 2017, at Menig Extended Care Facility at Morgan Orchards in Randolph Center.

She was born Jan. 31, 1941, in Stockbridge, Vt., the daughter of Walter Sr. & Helen (Brown) Mills. She graduated from Whitcomb High School and had lived in Stockbridge until moving to Bethel in 1964. Edith was married to Elbert H. Trask in Gaysville on Aug. 11, 1962. She had worked at GW Plastics and was mailroom supervisor at Clifford of Vermont until retiring in 2000. Edith was a member of the United Church of Bethel and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed camping, dancing and listening to music.

Survivors include her husband, Elbert H. Trask; daughter, Michele Washburn and husband, Charles of Bethel; sons, Eugene Trask and wife, Heidi of Bethel and Steven Trask and wife, Kristy of Westford; sisters, Cynthia Jarvis and husband, Alfred of Randolph, Barbara Hayward, Patricia Lyman, and Deborah Antiuk and husband, Michael, all of Bethel, and Connie Kellogg and husband, Jon of Peacham; brother, Walter Mills Jr. and wife, Gloria of Bethel; seven grandchildren, Jeff Washburn and wife, Faaron, Brittany Washburn, Lily Trask, Austin Trask, Travis Trask, Wade Trask and Chelsie Trask. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Charles Mills Sr. and sister, Celinda Robinson.

Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12 at the United Church of Bethel with Pastor Thomas Harty, officiating. There are no calling hours. Private burial will be in the Spring at Pleasant View Cemetery in Randolph.
