Police seek suspect in armed robbery at East Corinth store

EAST CORINTH — Vermont State Police are searching for a suspect after a reported armed robbery at East Corinth General Store on Thursday afternoon.

Witnesses described the suspect as a tall, skinny man wearing all black clothing, including black gloves and a face mask, and brandishing a pistol.

He fled on foot, according to reports. Troopers used a police dog to search for the suspect but were unable to pick up a trail.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to contact Detective Sgt. Drew Cota at the St. Johnsbury State Police barracks at 802-748-3111.
