HANOVER — Voters in Norwich and Hanover approved all articles on Tuesday’s Dresden School District ballot.
The closest vote was 924 to 422 on funding a middle school athletics program at Frances C. Richmond Middle School at a cost of $201,000 for the 2025-26 fiscal year.
They also approved a budget of $31.24 million, which is up from the $30.25 million budget voters approved last year, as well as the cost of a three-year collective bargaining agreement with the Hanover Support Staff Association, which includes a cost of $229,000 in the first year, and the cost of a new agreement with the Hanover-Dresden Service Staff AFSCME, Local #1348 for a cost of $98,000 next year.
