Contested races: There are no contested races.

Budgets and spending articles: The proposed budget is $31.24 million, which is up from the $30.25 million budget voters approved last year. Voters also will be asked whether they approve the cost of a three-year collective bargaining agreement with the Hanover Support Staff Association, which includes a cost of $229,000 in the first year. Another article asks whether voters support the cost of a new agreement with the Hanover-Dresden Service Staff AFSCME, Local #1348 for a cost of $98,000 next year.

When, where and how to vote: The annual meeting discussion will take place on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. at Hanover High School and via Zoom; the link will be online at sau70.org. Voting will take place by Australian ballot on Tuesday, March 4 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Richmond Middle School gym for Hanover voters and in Tracy Hall for Norwich voters.
