HANOVER — Junior Allie Winstanley factored in all of the offense as the Cartmouth College women’s soccer team, playing its first competitive match in 657 days, recorded a 3-2 win over Holy Cross at Whitey Burnham Field on Friday night.

All of the scoring came in the second half of a seesaw match.

Winstanley got things going with an unassisted goal in the 51st minute. The Crusaders (0-3-0) responded through Colleen McIlvenna in the 66th, only to have the Big Green’s Dasa Hase knock home a Winstanley feed about 10 minutes later.

Holy Cross deadlocked the match again in the 81st on a Samantha Adams goal. But Winstanley settled the affair with 2:50 left on the clock, scoring her second goal of the night on passes from Tracey Mills and Hannah Curtin.

Dartmouth (1-0-0) owned a 23-10 advantage in shot attempts, with an 11-6 edge in shots on goal. Charlotte Cyr recorded four saves in her Big Green debut in net.

Dartmouth is back in action at home on Sunday, hosting Vermont at 1 p.m
