In-person career fair returns to DHMC

LEBANON — For the first time since 2018, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon is scheduled to hold an in-person Career Expo on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m., according to a news release.

The event — which is set to take place in auditoriums A-D — is to include more than 30 exhibitors. It is intended to offer people a chance to learn about careers in allied health, nursing, engineering and trades, information technology, security, rehabilitation, social work, community health, healthcare operations and administration, as well as paid training programs through Dartmouth Health’s Workforce Readiness Institute, which is hosting the event.

The Workforce Readiness Institute currently is enrolling for career training programs for professions such as: ophthalmic assistant, medical assistant, pharmacy technician, phlebotomist, surgical technologist and licensed nursing assistant.

Twin State schools such as Colby Sawyer College, River Valley Community College, Vermont Tech and New England College will also be offering information about their programs.
