Croydon sees high turnout to elect members for two boards

CROYDON — Voters elected Selectboard and School Board members in contested races at the polls on Tuesday.

Susan Kimball and Edward Spiker each won a three-year position on the Selectboard with 158 and 132 voters, respectfully. They beat Shawn Douglas, who earned 93 votes.

On the school side, Amanda Leslie beat Aaron McKeon for a three-year seat on the School Board, 165 to 95.

Of Croydon’s 631 registered voters, 260, or about 41%, cast ballots on Tuesday.

The in-person Town Meeting is Saturday at 9 a.m. at Croydon Town Hall, 879 NH Route 10. The in-person school meeting is Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Croydon Fire Department.
