Single-car crash on I-91

After extracting the driver from an SUV that crashed into the median of Interstate 91 in Ascutney, Vt., on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, first responders from Ascutney, West Weathersfield and Golden Cross Ambulance carry her to an ambulance. The driver was transported to a hospital to evaluate unknown injuries. Vermont State Police were notified of the crash just after 12:30 p.m. when the Hyundai Tucson's crash detection system sensed an airbag deployment and placed an automatic emergency call.
