Police: Cornish Windsor Covered Bridge damaged, help needed finding those responsible 

CORNISH — The Cornish Police Department is seeking assistance identifying the person responsible for damaging the Cornish Windsor Covered Bridge on Friday, according to a Sunday post on the department’s Facebook page. 

It may have been a trailer that hit the side of the bridge and there is white paint transfer visible, the post said. The post also urges residents to ask their state legislators to act to install cameras on the historic bridge.

“Reach out to your state representatives and senators and demand our historic bridge be protected,” the post said.
