Wilder, Vt. — Carol Ann Martin, died Tuesday April 10, 2018, at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care in Lebanon, N.H. surrounded by her family.

She was born Dec. 14, 1936 in Newton, Mass. daughter of Raymond and Ida Beatrice (Smith) Moore. Carol graduated from high school in Hopkinton, Mass. She married Lloyd Martin, June 9, 1956, and together they raised a family in Vermont and Massachusetts. Carol worked for the Woodstock Pharmacy and TD Bank.

She and Lloyd enjoyed spending time in Kennebunkport, Maine in the summer months and Hudson, Fla. in the winter with many friends in both places. They made their home for the last 18 years in Hudson. She enjoyed reading by the ocean, her flower gardens, knitting and spending time with “Dusty” her little dog who was always by her side.

She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, in 2015; as well as a brother Richard “Dick” Moore.

She leaves a daughter, Judy Lewis and her husband William of White River Jct., Vt.; sons, Scott Martin and his wife Marie of Wilder, Kevin Martin and his wife Susan of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Brian, Jessica, Amanda, Brent, Megan, Josh, Lindsay, Ryan, Stacey, Emily, Becky, Nick and Patrick; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Max, Bryce, Logan, Olivia, Maisie and Baby Compo.

A graveside service will be held July 6, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Vermont Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center, Vt.
