PLAINFIELD — New Hampshire’s mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinic is coming to Plainfield and Claremont this month, according to the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services.
On Saturday, the mobile vaccine clinic operated by On-site Medical Services and funded through DHHS is scheduled to be at Plainfield Elementary School in Meriden from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
On Nov. 14, the mobile clinic is slated to be at the Claremont Fire Department from 4 – 7 p.m.
The clinics provide free COVID-19 vaccines and updated booster doses without an appointment.
On-Site Medical Services offers treatment for those without a doctor LEBANON — The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, earlier this month, announced a way for people without access to telehealth through their primary care provider to get Paxlovid, an antiviral treatment that is most effective within 72 hours from when symptoms start.
Telehealth video or telephone consultations through the Newport-based On-Site Medical Services are available to New Hampshire residents who are 12 or older, do not have access to a primary care provider and have tested positive for COVID-19.
An On-Site medical provider will determine whether Paxlovid treatment is appropriate. If so, the provider will send a prescription to the patient’s preferred pharmacy. If the patient is unable to leave their residence,the provider will send the medication via overnight mail.
Telehealth appointments through On-Site are available Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments with On-Site Medical Services can be scheduled online at on-sitemedservices.com/telemedicine or by calling 800-816-5803.
