WOODSTOCK — The Thompson Senior Center has postponed its annual meeting due to “an uptick in positive COVID cases,” according to a Tuesday message from the center’s director.

“… We have decided that filling the conference room with a large group of people wouldn’t be the most prudent idea under the circumstances,” Deanna Jones, Thompson’s executive director, wrote in the email.

The meeting, originally scheduled to take place on Wednesday, has been postponed to Nov. 2 at 10:30 a.m.

The center remains open but asks those who attend to self-monitor for cold or flu-like symptoms. Those with symptoms or who have been exposed to a positive COVID case are asked to wait five days before returning. Masks are recommended for group activities.

ENFIELD — There are three upcoming COVID-19 vaccination clinics on the New Hampshire side of the Upper Valley.

First, the Community Lutheran Church, 96 Main Street in Enfield, is hosting a clinic in its Fellowship Hall on Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., according to an email from Jane Plumley, the clinic’s organizer.

Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available, as will primary series, third shots and boosters.

Adults must bring their vaccination card, if they have one, and their ID. Children must come with a parent or guardian who can sign a consent form along with an ID, such as a birth certificate, school ID or passport.
