BRIDGEWATER — Voters are being asked to authorize the town to borrow up to $190,000 to buy a new truck for the Highway Department, replacing a 2014 Freightliner.
The money would be paid from the Equipment Reserve Fund, according to the Town Meeting warning.
The town budget of almost $1.3 million would require $763,547 to be raised by taxes.
Elections are from the floor, and Selectboard Chair Lynne Bertram is expected to seek another three-year term.
Town Meeting will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, at the Bridgewater Community Center on Route 4.
